We have 24 centres that stand alongside 24 of the NHS cancer hospitals. Each visitor gets a warm welcome whether they walk through the door of a centre or join our online community. And we give the specialist emotional and psychological care they need.
Your support makes our work possible
Our Cancer Support Specialists, Psychologists and Benefits Advisors help people cope with a cancer diagnosis.
We know that after coming to Maggie’s, people feel less alone and more confident about talking to their medical teams. And we have helped thousands of people get the benefits they are entitled to.
Last year we supported over 280,000 people with cancer, 70,000 were visiting us for the very first time. And we continued our support throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
Support for people with cancer today
We estimate there’ll be a growth in our visitor numbers as many continue to come to terms with a diagnosis and the treatment they might need.
In the next three years, we aim to have 30 centres, meaning we’re be at half of the cancer hospitals in the UK.
But we rely on your kindness. You can help us continue to provide the support people with cancer need.
